Spain’s Supercopa on ESPN Deportes and

ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio and will present live coverage of Spain’s 2011

Supercopa. The anticipated two-leg match-up will feature two consecutive Clasico matches –FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, Sunday, August 14th at 4 p.m ET from Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, and Wednesday, August 17th at 5 p.m. ET from the Camp Nou in Barcelona.

Organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation since 1982, the Spanish Supercopa is celebrated every August, kicking off the official soccer season in Spain.


ESPN Deportes

  • Fuera de Juego (Sun 8/14 from 3 – 4 p.m. ET and 6 – 7 p.m. ET. Wed. 8/17 from 4 – 5 p.m ET and 7 – 8 p.m ET) – The network’s international soccer program will offer special live coverage from site with host and soccer expert Fernando Palomo
  • SportsCenter (Sun 8/14 from 7 p.m. & 8 p.m ET). ESPN Deportes’ flagship sports news and information program will feature extensive coverage with special reports from Rafa Puente, and José Ramón Fernández;
  • Los Capitanes (Wed 8/17 from 4 – 5 p.m ET) – The network’s commentary program will feature special live reports from Camp Nou with José Ramón Fernandez

ESPN Deportes Radio

The only around-the-clock Spanish-language sports radio network in the U.S., will broadcast both matches LIVE with soccer experts Jorge Ramos (play-by- play) and Hernan Pereya (analysis). will carry both matches in Spanish-language with a live simulcast of ESPN Deportes coverage.  On Sunday, August 14 the coverage kicks off at 4 p.m. ET and Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET.

The leading Spanish-language sports Web site in the U.S. will provide in-depth coverage highlighted by extensive online video, real-time Gamecast application featuring live scores and stats as the matches unfold. Additional features include live polls, blogs, photo gallery and video clips highlighting the best plays.
