The “U” recommends hydrating before reliving the atmosphere surrounding this year’s Duel in the Desert on ESPNU Road Trip. If you’re hungry, grab an apple with that glass of water, but ESPNU All-Access: Cincinnati proves that one a day can’t always keep the doctor away…
Wednesday (6 p.m.) – ESPNU Road Trip visits one of the oldest and most heated rivalries in college football – Arizona State and Arizona’s annual Territorial Cup.
Wednesday (6:30 p.m.) – ESPNU All-Access: Cincinnati goes inside the football program that is coming off a heartbreaking loss to West Virginia and an injury to senior quarterback Zach Collaros. All-Access follows the starting QB as he visits the doctor to find out whether his college career is in jeopardy or if there is a shot at playing again this season.
Sunday (6 p.m.) – 2011 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship Selection Show takes collegiate volleyball off the court for a night as Beth Mowins and Karch Kilary reveal the 64-team bracket live from ESPN’s Charlotte studios. __________________________________________________________________________
College GameDay Notebook
ESPN’s Emmy Award-winning College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will originate from Auburn, on Saturday, Nov. 26, in advance of the SEC Western Division matchup between No. 2 Alabama and No. 24 Auburn. The weekly show airs at 9-10 a.m. on ESPNU and 10 a.m.-noon on ESPN.
GameDay has visited the Auburn/Alabama rivalry three times, last stopping by in 1996. Auburn hosts the crew for the seventh time and is making its 13th overall appearance on the weekly show. Alabama takes part for the second time this season and the 21st overall.
With the Dancing with the Stars finalists competing on the ballroom floor for the final time last night, we head into the GameDay archives to view this 2009 spot. Kirk Herbstreit put together his favorite Alabama highlights for Chris Fowler and Alabama head coach Nick Saban, but accidently showed the wrong tape! Will he make the cut next season?

Spotlight: NBA Analyst Jeff Van Gundy
Jeff Van Gundy would normally be serving as ESPN’s lead NBA analyst this time of year. Instead, due to the NBA lockout, he’s offering analysis on select college basketball games including Wednesday’s semifinals of the DICK’S Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off in New York (7 p.m., ESPNU; 9:30 p.m., ESPN2).
Jeff recently shared some of his insight on his college hoops role in a Front & Center podcast on ESPN Front Row.
Q. What past experiences helped you prepare for this college basketball role?
I think my three years in college coaching helped me a little bit more than just doing an occasional college game because the players turn over so much from year to year. I do feel comfortable calling college basketball but there are differences in rules and, obviously, (some of) the players and the coaches stay in one place often times and are fixtures there. It’s a little different, but it’s still a great game and I enjoy doing it a lot.
