ESPNHS Presents 2012 NIKE Football SPARQ Combine Schedule
ESPNHS Presents 2012 NIKE Football SPARQ Combine Schedule
ESPNHS and NIKE announced today the 2012 NIKE Football SPARQ Combine Schedule. The combines will take place in 13 different locations this spring.
The NIKE Football SPARQ Combines give each athlete the opportunity to be professionally SPARQ tested and rated. The SPARQ Rating is the result of a series of sport-specific tests and gives athletes a chance to see their strengths and weaknesses. Athletes can use the rating to measure themselves against other players in their class, state and around the nation. Last spring more than 14,000 of the nation’s top prospects were tested and rated.
The 2012 tour, the ninth year of the NIKE Football SPARQ Combines, will again test high school football players from across the country. Combines are free to attend and open to the Class of 2013 graduates and top underclassmen. Athletes are tested in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, the 20-yard shuttle and the kneeling power ball throw. The combines are one way to qualify for the annual “The Opening” presented by Nike Football, to be held in early July at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Ore.
