Three Candidates in the EA SPORTS Madden NFL 13 Cover Vote to Visit ESPN on Wednesday


Three of the 32 candidates in the EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 13 cover vote will visit the ESPN campus in Bristol, Conn., on Wednesday, March 21, in conjunction with SportsNation’s “Madden Cover Vote Special” airing on ESPN2 from 6-7 p.m. ET.  The special will reveal this year’s bracket of 32 players in the running for the cover. The three current NFL players will appear on ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes and multiple television shows throughout the day, including editions of SportsCenter and NFL Live. After the bracket reveal, fans can cast their votes for the Madden NFL 13 cover athlete at through April 25.


ESPNU, ESPN3 to Offer Live Coverage of NFL Pro Days featuring Baylor’s Robert Griffin III and Stanford’s Andrew Luck

ESPN will have live coverage of the NFL Pro Day workouts this week featuring Stanford’s Andrew Luck and Baylor’s Robert Griffin III, the top two projected players in the upcoming NFL Draft. ESPNU and ESPN3 will carry the Pro Day workouts live and studio reports will air throughout the day on television from Baylor (Wednesday, 12 p.m. ET) and Stanford (Thursday, 2 p.m.). NFL analysts will provide updates on daily editions of SportsCenter, NFL Live (4 p.m., ESPN) and NFL32 (6 p.m., ESPN2) throughout the week. Details: 

  • Baylor (Wednesday, March 21): Beginning at 12 p.m., ESPNU and ESPN3 will have live coverage of the workouts featuring 2011 Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III. ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio and analysts Ron Jaworski and McShay will be in Waco, Texas, to provide analysis and live reports.
  • Stanford (Thursday, March 22): Andrew Luck, the No. 1 NFL Draft prospect on McShay’s and Mel Kiper’s mock draft boards, will participate in his Pro Day workout, which ESPNU and ESPN3 will carry live at 2 p.m. ESPN’s Rachel Nichols and analysts Trent Dilfer, McShay and Steve Young will provide updates from Palo Alto, Calif., on SportsCenter, NFL Live and NFL32.
