2012 NCAA Division I Softball Super Regionals Begin Thursday

For the fifth straight year, ESPN will carry every game from all eight NCAA Division I Softball Super Regionals, beginning with Michigan vs. No. 2 Alabama from Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Thursday, May 24 at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN3.  Twelve of the top 16 seeds remain in the field and five of the eight matchups in the Super Regionals see seeded teams facing each other.

ESPN’s Super Regionals commenting pairs will be highlighted by five U.S. Olympic Gold Medalists providing analysis across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 from: Tuscaloosa, Ala.; Tempe, Ariz.; Norman Okla.; Tampa Bay, Fla.; Austin, Texas; Knoxville, Tenn.; Columbia, Mo.; and Berkley, Calif.
