ESPN to Televise Fenway Park Pre-Game Ceremony Live on SportsCenter

ESPN will televise today’s Fenway Park pre-game ceremony including the singing of the National Anthem, live on SportsCenter, beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET. Jeremy Schaap, who joined Bob Ley Monday on SportsCenter to lead coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings, is anchoring coverage from Fenway with ESPNBoston.com’s Gorden Edes reporting. ESPN’s on-site coverage from Boston is currently underway on SportsCenter. The Boston Red Sox are scheduled to host the Kansas City Royals today at 1:10 p.m. in their first game in Boston since the tragic events of this week. ESPN’s coverage of the pre-game ceremony is also available via WatchESPN.

Additional programming note: ESPN’s X Games coverage will move to ESPN2 during the 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. window, and then return to ESPN.
