espnW Continues 98 Days to Shine Campaign; Reaches 7,000 Photo Submissions

day45espnW’s summer photo challenge 98 Days to Shine (#98DaysToShine), part of the Summer of W campaign, has reached 7,000 photo submissions. The photo challenge, which launched on Memorial Day, continues through Labor Day. espnW issues a daily challenge across social media and espnW.com/98days that motivates fans and captures the essence of summer. Responses are captured through Twitter and Instagram photos with rewards given out daily and weekly, culminating with a grand prize at summer’s end. The photos submitted during the summer are showcased on espnW.com and will be part of the New York City finale event that celebrates the photos and creativity of fans. All are encouraged to snap a photo and hashtag using #98DaystoShine on Twitter and Instagram and share across social platforms.

Upcoming challenges include “Game Face”, “Your Weakness,” “Cheer” and “At Your Best,” some of which offer the special prize of a Google+ Hangout with athletes like Julie Foudy and Kerri Walsh Jennings. The Summer of W campaign gives women a chance to claim the spotlight, showcasing unique sports, well-known and aspiring athletes and photos entries from the #98DaysToShine Photo Challenge.
