GEICO ESPN High School Basketball Showcase: Spalding Hoophall Classic on ESPNU Features No. 1 and No. 2 Ranked Teams & Four Top 10 Teams; Also, Six Top 15 Recruits
The 2013-2014 GEICO ESPN High School Basketball Showcase continues Monday, Jan. 20, on ESPNU with four games from the annual Spalding Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass., which showcases the nation’s top teams and recruits. Michael Couzens and ESPN national recruiting director Paul Biancardi will call the action with sideline reporter Jeff Goodman. Recruiting Nation will air between games and be hosted by Zubin Mehenti and former Boston College guard Malcolm Huckaby. Fans can join the conversation on Twitter by tagging their tweets with #Hoophall.
The GEICO ESPN High School Basketball Showcase: 2014 Spalding Hoophall Classic will have six of the USA Today High School Boys Basketball Super 25, including No. 1 Montverde (Fla.) and No. 2 Mater Dei (Calif.). In addition, two of the Top 10 will go head-to-head: No. 1 Montverde (Fla.) vs. No. 7 Curie (Ill.). Fifth ranked Oak Hill (Va.) will also be televised. The telecast also features 12 recruits in the ESPN 100 (’14) including six top 15 recruits:
