Liga BBVA Bancomer MX Returns to ESPN Deportes

ESPN Deportes to carry live matches across all platforms starting this Friday with a doubleheader

Liga BBVA Bancomer MX, Mexico’s premier national soccer league returns to ESPN Deportes with live matches on television, WatchESPN and radio. Coverage kicks off with a season-opener doubleheader Friday, July 18 starting with Gallos Blancos de Querétaro vs. Pumas de la Unam at 8:25 p.m. ET followed by Xolos de Tijuana vs. Puebla FC taking the field at 10:25 p.m. ET.

Jorge Ramos, Ricardo Mayorga, Toño Valle, Elmer Polanco, Fernando Schwartz, Leo Vega and Jose Del Valle will lead the play-by-pay and analysis. Every Friday, the network will air La Previa MX, a special news and analysis show previewing the Liga MX weekend.

ESPNDeportes.com will present comprehensive coverage through the season including video highlights, Gamecast, video analysis by the soccer experts, the weekly team & player ranking, and the latest news and stats. Rafa Ramos also returns with his weekly blog and Zona Caliente, his bi-weekly video analysis.

Gaby Nuñez is manager of communications for ESPN Deportes and ESPN Latin American. She joined ESPN in October 2010 and is based in the company’s New York City offices.
