ESPN Deportes debuts special weekend edition of the Emmy award-winning show Nación ESPN

ESPN Deportes will launch a special weekend edition of Emmy award-winning Nación ESPN on August 9 at 4 p.m. ET. The network’s fan-interactive and culturally relevant show will now offer a new weekend wrap-up edition, featuring a top 50 countdown of the best, worst and funniest plays of the week.

To date, renowned sports journalist David Faitelson and versatile sports anchor Adriana Monsalve have been the hosts close to 1,000 episodes and 400 top-notch celebrity guests. In addition, fans of the show have been treated to in-studio interviews with these special guests as well as heated debates and friendly competitions between the charismatic and sports-savvy hosts. Previous guests to the program include David Beckham, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Mike Tyson and Mexican rock band Molotov.​

The special weekend edition of Nación ESPN will continue to be fueled by heavy fan interaction via social media platforms, providing unprecedented control to the Spanish-language sports fan of the angles and stories covered in the show. Viewers will have the ability to choose their favorite plays of the week using the hashtag #LaFavorita. The winning play will stand as the viewer’s favorite until the next show.
