Alabama Commit, Three Players in ESPN 300, and Nationally Ranked Teams Face Off on ESPNU Friday

The 2014 GEICO ESPN High School Football Showcase continues with a Alabama verbal commitment and three players in the ESPN 300 in-action when No. 20 Gonzaga (DC) takes on No. 7 Centreville (VA) Friday, September 5, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU. No. 20 Gonzaga (DC), is led by three players in the ESPN 300: No. 130 senior Richie Petitbon (OG), an Alabama commit, No. 152 senior Marcus Lewis (S), and No. 174 junior Kyle Taylor (LB). Senior Nick Johns (QB), who has verbally committed to Virginia, threw for three touchdowns in the Eagles season opening victory. No. 7 Centreville (VA) went undefeated last season (15-0) on their way to winning the Virginia 6A State Championship. Senior A.J. Turner (RB), who has verbally committed to South Carolina, returns for the Wildcats as they kick off their 2014 season on Friday.
