ESPN’s MLB Postseason Impact Games: Brewers-Cardinals, Tigers-Royals Added to Schedule

ESPN announced today it has added two Major League Baseball Postseason Impact Games to its schedule. On Tuesday, September 16, the Milwaukee Brewers will visit the St. Louis Cardinals at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Cardinals currently sit atop the National League Central, while the Brewers are within 1.5 games of an NL Wild Card spot. This will be a full national telecast.

On Friday, September 19, the Detroit Tigers will visit the Kansas City Royals on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. The Tigers and Royals are currently tied atop the American League Central as both continue to vie for the division lead and playoff positioning. This will also be a full national telecast. Both Postseason Impact Games will be available via WatchESPN.

ESPN’s Postseason Impact Games are a highlight under the company’s new multiplatform rights agreement with Major League Baseball, which went into effect this season. Additional Postseason Impact Games are expected to be announced in the coming days.
