ESPN2 will televise the nation’s No. 1 high school basketball player and No. 1 team tonight when No. 12 Bishop O’Dowd, Calif. travels to No. 1 Montverde, Fla.(6:30 p.m. ET). Montverde PF Ben Simmons is the number one ranked player in the ESPN 100 and has signed with LSU. Bishop O’Dowd PF Ivan Rabb is No. 5 in the ESPN 100 and remains uncommitted. Additionally, No. 54, PF Noah Dickerson (Florida signee) and No. 60, C Doral Moore (Wake Forest signee), in the ESPN 100 also suit up for Montverde. Mike Couzens will call the play-by-play with ESPN recruiting director Paul Biancardi providing the color commentary. National Rankings are per USA Today (Dec. 8).
