SEC Network Surrounding SEC Football Championship with Extensive Onsite Pre-Game and Post-Game Coverage

In its first college football season SEC Network aired 48 games, featuring a total of 24 ranked teams and every SEC team appearing at least twice. The network will culminate the regular season by surrounding the SEC Football Championship game with flagship programming, expert analysis and more than 12 hours of live coverage in Atlanta on Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6.

Onsite coverage from the Georgia Dome begins with the Alabama and Missouri head coaches press conferences on Friday, Dec. 5, beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET. The press conferences will be followed by The Paul Finebaum Show live from the College Football Hall of Fame featuring in-person SEC guests as well as callers. Game previews, expert analysis and content from around the Southeastern Conference will be available in SEC Now at 7 p.m. The nightly news & information show will feature a robust line-up of football experts including Dari Nowkhah and Joe Tessitore joined by Greg McElroy, Booger McFarland, Tim Tebow and Marcus Spears. Five SEC Championship titles, four National Championships and two Super Bowl rings exist among the four analysts alone.

On Saturday, Dec. 6, the morning begins with replays of Alabama and Missouri’s prior weekend wins – Arkansas at Missouri and Auburn at Alabama – followed by a special SEC Film Room with analysts David Greene and Tom Luginbill in the Charlotte studios previewing the matchup through a breakdown of the Xs & Os from recent game film.

Game day coverage from Atlanta begins at 1 p.m. with an extended three-hour SEC Nation pregame show. Tessitore, Tebow, Spears, Finebaum and Kaylee Hartung will be live at SEC FanFare for the first half of the show and then move to a set on the Georgia Dome sidelines prior to kickoff.

Following the game, SEC Network will provide immediate reaction to the matchup from the sideline set. Coverage will include post-game analysis from SEC Network commentators and live on-set guests.
