ESPN to Carry 21 International Matches March 25 – 31

Includes Coverage of Denmark vs. USA, France vs. Brazil, and UEFA EURO 2016 Qualifying Matches

ESPN networks will combine to televise 21 matches in this month’s FIFA International match dates beginning March 25 through March 31, highlighted by Denmark vs. USA on Wednesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. ET (kickoff at 3:15 p.m.) on ESPN and WatchESPN from NRGi Park in Aarhus, Denmark.

Eleven of the 23 players from U.S. Men’s National Team’s 2014 FIFA World Cup roster in Brazil will be part of the squad that faces Denmark, currently ranked 28th in FIFA world rankings. The U.S. Men’s National Team is ranked 32nd. Lead soccer play-by-play voice Ian Darke and analyst Taylor Twellman will call the match live from Aarhus.

In addition, 13 qualifying matches for the UEFA European Football Championship 2016 in France will be aired on ESPN networks during this week’s FIFA match dates.

  • France vs. Brazil: A rematch of the 1998 FIFA World Cup final on Thursday, March 26 at 3:55 p.m. on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes TV and WatchESPN.
  • Spain vs. Ukraine: A marquee matchup in the qualifying series for the UEFA EURO 2016 on Friday, March 27, at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes TV, ESPN Deportes Radio and WatchESPN.
  • El Tri on ESPN: Mexican National Team matches on ESPN continue – Mexico vs. Ecuador on Saturday, March 26, at 9:30 p.m. and Mexico vs. Paraguay on Tuesday, March 31 at 9 p.m. – on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.
  • Portugal vs. Serbia: The reigning FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo leads Portugal vs. Serbia in the UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying match on Sunday, March 29, at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes TV, ESPN Deportes Radio and WatchESPN.
