Exclusive live coverage continues across ESPN and ESPN Deportes platforms

With only three days left and 37 medal ceremonies, ESPN and ESPN Deportes continue to present extensive, daily coverage around the event with the final performance of some of the most anticipated disciplines and athletes, followed by the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games Closing Ceremony on Sunday, July 26, starting at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Standings:

  • Team USA continues to lead the ranking with a total 209 medals, 79 gold, 67 silver and 63 bronze
    • Recent gold wins in Cycling (Road), Fencing and Taekwondo
    • Clinches berth at Rio 2016 in Women’s Field Hockey
    • Advances to Men’s Basketball semifinals facing Brazil
  • Canada in second place with 180 medals, 67 gold, 60 silver and 53 bronze
    • Gold in Athletic, Cycling and Waterski & Wakeboard
  • Brazil in third place with 114 medals, followed by Colombia (62), Cuba (75), Mexico (74), Argentina (61), Guatemala (8), Venezuela (35) and Chile (23)
    • Brazil advances to the Women’s Soccer finals for the fourth time
    • Colombia heads to the Women’s Soccer finals for the first time against Brazil
    • Argentina also clinches a Rio 2016 berth in  Women’s Handball
    • Mexico defends gold medal in Men’s Soccer semis

About the Pan American Games Toronto 2015: The multinational event features 36 Summer Olympic sports, such as soccer, boxing, swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, cycling, judo, etc. More than 6,000 athletes, representing 41 nations from the Americas, are expected to compete in Toronto. This is the third time that Canada hosts the event, and the first held in the providence of Ontario. ESPN has been the U.S. home of the Pan American Games since 2007; the event is held every four years, and serves as a platform for many athletes looking to participate in the Olympic Games.
