Tickets on Sale Now for Jimmy V Men’s Classic to be Played December 8

Tickets go on sale today, Friday, Oct. 16, at noon ET for the 2015 Jimmy V Men’s Basketball Classic Presented by Corona scheduled to be played on Tuesday, Dec. 8, with proceeds benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Four storied college basketball programs headline the Classic: No. 20 West Virginia vs. No. 4 Virginia at 7 p.m., followed by UConn against top-ranked Maryland at 9 p.m. in the 21st annual event to air on ESPN from New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden.

Ticket prices range from $15-$275. Tickets to the men’s event are available for purchase at the Madison Square Garden Box Office, Ticketmaster charge by phone at (866) 858-0008 and online at www.ticketmaster.com and www.thegarden.com.

Rachel Margolis Siegal

A part of the Internal Communications team at ESPN, I began with the network in 2010 as part of the College Sports PR team. Always an avid sports fan and not an athlete – I grew up a huge fan of the Hartford Whalers, while also watching my brother compete at different levels. I became the manager of several high school sports teams and continued that hobby into college. While at Quinnipiac, I worked in the Sports Information Department, which led me to a summer internship at the New Haven Ravens, a AA baseball team, and an eventual job with the Athletic Communications Department at the University of Connecticut. After my five-year stint at Connecticut, I spent six years as Director of Communications at the BIG EAST Conference in Providence, R.I. before joining ESPN.
