L.A. Clippers Guard J.J. Redick to Join ESPN NBA Countdown as Guest Analyst on Friday

Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick will join NBA Countdown charged by Mountain Dew this Friday, Jan. 8, at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Redick will serve as a guest analyst for the full 30-minute show, alongside regular analysts Doug Collins and Jalen Rose and host Sage Steele.

 NBA Countdown will precede ESPN’s Friday NBA doubleheader: the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Minnesota Timberwolves at 8 p.m., followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers at 10:30 p.m.

Redick’s appearance marks the fourth time this season that NBA Countdown has included a current or former NBA player serving as a guest analyst. Paul Pierce and Tracy McGrady made pre-game appearances and Harrison Barnes joined the NBA Countdown crew during a recent halftime show.

NBA CountdownABC’s and ESPN’s NBA pre-game show – emanates from ESPN’s Los Angeles Production Center at L.A. Live, across the street from the Staples Center. NBA Countdown on ABC will resume on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. for the launch of NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC.
