ESPN today announced the addition of an MLB Postseason Impact Game telecast presented by Exxon and Mobil on Friday, September 30 at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Toronto Blue Jays and Jose Bautista, in the race for the AL Wild Card spot, take on the Boston Red Sox, currently one game away from clinching the American League East, and David Ortiz in his final regular season series at Fenway Park.
The Sunday Night Baseball team of play-by-play commentator Dan Shulman, analysts Aaron Boone and Jessica Mendoza and reporter Buster Olney will call the matchup. The telecast will be blacked out in the Boston market.
