2016 espnW: Women + Sports Summit adds Olympians Ashton Eaton and Brianne Theisen-Eaton, Allyson Felix to Agenda

espnW has added 2016 Olympians Ashton Eaton and Brianne Theisen-Eaton and Allyson Felix to its list of newsmakers and influential speakers at the seventh annual espnW: Women + Sports Summit presented by Toyota. The husband-wife tandem of Eaton, who won a gold medal in the decathlon for the USA, and Theisen-Eaton, who earned the bronze in the heptathlon for Canada, will sit with ESPN baseball analyst Jessica Mendoza to discuss “Striving for Excellence Individually and Together,” on Saturday, Oct. 15. Additionally Felix, who in Rio became the only female track and field athlete ever to win six Olympic gold medals, will discuss with SportsCenter host Sage Steele her Olympic journey and future, on Friday, Oct. 12.

The Summit, which will take place from October 13-15, at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, Calif., will feature panels, keynotes, work sessions, presentations and activities geared towards advancing the agenda of women in sports and focused around the “Vision, Action, Impact” theme.
