Men’s College Basketball: NIT Semifinals and Title Game to Air on ESPN

CBI Best-of-Three Championship Series on ESPNU

The National Invitation Tournament (NIT) is down to four teams – CSU Bakersfield, UCF, Georgia Tech and TCU – all earning a trip to the semifinals on Tuesday, March 28, from New York’s historic Madison Square Garden. The title game will be played on Thursday, March 30, also from MSG.

All games will air on ESPN and be called Bob Wischusen, Fran Fraschilla and Kris Budden.

Game one of the semifinals will showcase No. 8 seed CSU Bakersfield against No. 6 seed Georgia Tech at 7 p.m., followed by No. 4 seeds TCU vs. UCF at 9 p.m.

The College Basketball Invitational (CBI) presented by Five Four – the best-of-three championship series airing on ESPNU beginning on Monday, March 27 – will pit Coastal Carolina at home against Wyoming at 7:30 p.m. Game two will be at Wyoming on Wednesday, March 29 at 9 p.m., and should game three be needed, it will also be at Wyoming, on Friday, March 31, at 7 p.m. Roy Philpott and Corey Williams will have the call of the games.

The remaining NIT and CBI games will also be available through WatchESPN, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and streaming devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
