ESPN to Air SportsCenter Special: 2017 NFL Schedule Release on Thursday, 8 p.m. ET

Two-Hour Program Will Highlight the NFL Regular-Season Schedule Announcement

ESPN will air SportsCenter Special: 2017 NFL Schedule Release on Thursday, April 20, from 8-10 p.m. ET. The two-hour primetime program will be timed to the National Football League’s announcement of the 2017 regular-season schedule – all 256 games. The program will also be streamed live via WatchESPN.

NFL Live’s Trey Wingo will host the schedule release special with analyst Jerome Bettis, and NFL Insiders Louis Riddick and Adam Schefter. They will breakdown team-by-team schedules, preview ESPN’s Monday Night Football matchups and other primetime games, and offer predictions on the upcoming season. NFL coach and player guests are also expected to be part of the program.

Preceding the schedule release show will be a one-hour SportsCenter Special: Mel & Todd’s Mock Draft at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Wingo will host with Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay taking turns making Round 1 selections as if they were NFL GMs. NFL Insiders Schefter and Riddick will also offer insight and analysis. Additionally, Kiper and McShay’s selections for Rounds 2 and 3 will be available on ESPN.com following the show.
