ESPN Adds Cubs-Cardinals Telecast to MLB Postseason Impact Game Slate on Tuesday

ESPN today announced it has added a telecast to its MLB Postseason Impact Game slate this week as part of the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Race to Zero. On Tuesday, September 26, the National League Central-leading Chicago Cubs and Anthony Rizzo visit the St. Louis Cardinals and Dexter Fowler. The Cardinals are part of the closely contested race with the Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies for the final spot in the NL Wild Card Game.

Karl Ravech will have the call with Eduardo Pérez and Tim Kurkjian at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. The telecast will be subject to blackout restrictions in the Chicago market.

ESPN’s six-game MLB Postseason Impact Game schedule concludes this week on Wednesday, Sept. 27, with the previously announced Houston Astros at Texas Rangers full-national telecast at 2 p.m. on ESPN. Jon Sciambi will be calling the action from the booth with David Ross and Aaron Boone.

Both games on ESPN are also available on ESPN Deportes+ and streaming on the ESPN App.
