College GameDay Makes First-Ever Visit to Texas Tech for Week 6 Show

ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm will make its first visit to Lubbock, Texas, on Saturday, Feb. 24, as No. 7 Texas Tech hosts No. 13 Kansas (4:15 p.m. ET, ESPN). The morning show will be live from United Supermarkets Arena, beginning at 11 a.m. on ESPN, followed by an evening edition leading into the game telecast.

Rece Davis hosts College GameDay Covered by State Farm, with analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Dan Shulman, Bilas and reporter Maria Taylor will have the call of the Saturday Primetime presented by AT&T matchup.

The show will mark a weekend of firsts for the Red Raiders – this will be their first time hosting GameDay, and the first time Texas Tech has been featured on the traveling college basketball show.

The College GameDay site will be announced one week prior to the show, ensuring visits to sites of top storylines and games appearing on ESPN networks each week.

It was always a dream of mine to work at ESPN, and here I am! I joined the College Sports PR team in March 2016. Hailing from the great Garden State, I graduated from Seton Hall University (Go Pirates!) with a degree in sport management, where I not only sang the National Anthem at games, but was also a member of the Seton Hall Sapphires Dance Team and a student reporter for Pirate Sports Network. Before joining ESPN, I served as a Public Relations Associate for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
