ESPN Reveals Weekday Slate and Daily MLB on ESPN+ Schedule for June

Weekday Lineup Features Multiple Appearances by Red Sox, Diamondbacks, Dodgers & More

25 Different MLB Teams Compete on Daily ESPN+ Schedule in June

ESPN today announced additional games to its June MLB schedule, including a full lineup of weekday baseball as well as the full 30-game, daily slate on ESPN+. In addition, ESPN’s June MLB schedule will also include three previously announced Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell matchups. The Sunday Night Baseball game on June 24, will be announced soon. This weekend’s Sunday Night Baseball telecast between American League divisional leaders, the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros, will begin at a special start time of 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown presented by Chevrolet pre-game show will precede the game on ESPN2.

ESPN’s June weekday MLB schedule will feature 11 teams including multiple appearances by the American League East leading Red Sox and Mookie Betts as well as the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels.

The schedule features the Angels and Mike Trout hosting the Diamondbacks and David Peralta on back-to-back nights, June 18-19. The following week, ESPN highlights the full three-game series when the Cubs and Kris Bryant take on the Dodgers and Matt Kemp from June 25-27.

ESPN+, the first-ever multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) group and ESPN, will showcase 25 of MLB’s 30 teams during its daily slate in June.

The schedule includes every divisional leading team. In addition, MLB on ESPN+ will feature an in-state matchup between the AL West-leading Astros and José Altuve visiting the Texas Rangers and Joey Gallo on June 8.

The Astros return later in the month to host the Tampa Bay Rays and C.J. Cron on back-to-back days on June 19-20. The St. Louis Cardinals and José Martínez also host the Miami Marlins and Starlin Castro two nights in a row on ESPN+ on June 6-7.
