ESPN X Games is now accepting media credential applications beginning on Monday, November 19, for X Games Aspen 2019, taking place January 24 – 27 in Aspen Snowmass. The deadline for credential applications and assignment letters is Wednesday, January 26, 2019. To apply for credentials click HERE or visit www.espnmediazone.com.
Who: Members of the press assigned to cover X Games Aspen 2019 may apply for credentials. The credential application will be available online HERE. Members of the press can read the latest press releases at www.espnmediazone.com and download photos from previous X Games events at www.espnimages.com.
What: The 23rd edition of ESPN’s annual winter action sports competition, X Games Aspen 2019 will feature the world’s top action sports athletes competing in the sports of Ski, Snowboard, Snowmobile and Snow Bike.
X Games Aspen 2019 will also feature an enhanced festival village experience, offering spectators a unique and wide-ranging interactive experience to complement the X Games competitions. The festival village will include a music stage with ticketed performances by Kygo, Louis The Child, The Chainsmokers and Lil Wayne.
Where: ESPN X Games Aspen 2019 will be held January 24 – 27 at Buttermilk Mountain at Aspen Snowmass. Additional information on venue locations and the competition schedule will be available at www.xgames.com.
Music: Please be aware that access to X Games live concerts will require an additional music credential. Quantities are limited so please check the box for a music credential only if you are on assignment to cover the concerts in addition to sports. You will be notified in advance if you are approved to cover live music events.
