World of X Games December 2018 Lineup

The December programming on World of X Games wraps up the year with some of the most unique stories in action sports, including Backcountry Stories with X Games gold medalists, a journey down the demanding terrain of the Baja Peninsula with Cameron Steele and a look into the lives of fan-favorites Henrik Harlaut and Danny Davis. Additionally, fans get a look into Jackson Strong’s preparation for X Games Aspen where he will return for the second rendition of Snow Bike Best Trick, before World of X Games closes out the year with a Top 10 Moments of 2018 show.

Seeking Nirvana – Norway, A Series of Ski Adventures

Airs:    12/2 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

Four prominent backcountry skiers who were childhood friends travel the world seeking adventure, meaning and discovery. Follow their inspirational and exciting journey as it takes them across the globe in search of Nirvana.

A collection of three short films highlighting the backcountry talents of X Games gold medalists Tanner Hall, Sammy Carlson, Maggie Voisin and Maddie Bowman. Viewers will see how Sammy Carlson spent his winter in his new home of Revelstoke, BC; go with Maggie and Maddie on a Girls Trip, where backcountry ripper Tatum Monod shows the girls her home powder stashes in Pemberton BC, after the girls finish a long competition season; and catch up with ski legend Tanner Hall during the best season of his career, filming in Montana, Utah and Tahoe.

Rip to Cabo 2018

X Games correspondent, Cameron Steele, leads a pack of skilled dirt bike riders on a 1,268 mile-journey down the down the demanding terrain of Baja Peninsula on a 1,268 -mile journey over seven days. Beginning at the San Diego-Tijuana border and culminating at the tip of Baja California, the band of brothers embark on a journey of a lifetime. Tackling remote and beautiful terrain that no one has ever ridden before, the pack rides down a trail that bounces between the two coast lines of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortes, facing physical and mental challenges along the way.

The Regiment of Henrik Harlaut

Airs:    12/16 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

A two-year film project from professional freestyle skier Henrik Harlaut, one of the only skiers to compete at the highest level, including more than 10 X Games medals, while also filming some of the most influential video parts of the last decade.

Jackson Strong’s Winter Chapter 2

Airs:    12/16 at 3:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT on ABC

Seven-time X Games medalist Jackson Strong has made a name for himself as one of the most well rounded Freestyle riders in Motocross, and Winter Chapter 2 follows his journey through mastering a second sport with Snow Bike Best Trick.

All in a Dream – A Film by Danny Davis

Airs:    12/22 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC

A look into the life of snowboard icon, Danny Davis as he continues to push the progression of transition and contest riding. Davis think’s he has seen it all; from contest podiums on the world stage to far reaching backcountry mountains in both hemispheres. But when a devastating crash sends his season plans off course, he is forced to face his biggest challenge to date, himself.
