Made in Austin: Spring Football Programming, including Texas Football Orange & White Spring Game, to Air Exclusively on Longhorn Network

Longhorn Network is expanding its spring football offerings in 2019, including full coverage of the Texas Football’s Pro Day, the Orange & White Spring Game and a comprehensive recap of spring camp as the Longhorns look to capitalize on a season that saw them win the Allstate Sugar Bowl to close 2018.
LHN will air exclusive coverage of UT’s 2019 Pro Day as part of the Texas Pro Day Special on Wednesday, March 27 at 9 p.m. ET. LHN will be on site at the indoor practice facility as draft-eligible former Longhorns football players perform a variety of workouts for visiting NFL scouts. Lifetime Longhorn Fozzy Whittaker and anchor Lowell Galindo will call the action for LHN’s Pro Day coverage.
Notable participants will include CB Kris Boyd, CB Davante Davis, WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey, LB Gary Johnson and DE Charles Omenihu, who were also invited to participate in the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. Pro Day events typically include weight room weigh-ins, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump as well as the 40-yard dash, 60-yard shuttle and position workouts for players entering the NFL Draft.
In addition, Longhorn Network will give Texas fans the full Forty Acres feeling the weekend of April 12-14, also dubbed the Made in Austin Weekend. Texas baseball hosts a three-game series against Big 12 rival Kansas State, with Saturday’s game swinging into action at 2 p.m. ET and leading into Texas GameDay at 6:30 p.m. Host Alex Loeb and Longhorn Legends Michael Griffin, Jordan Shipley and Derrick Johnson will get you fully prepared for the Texas Football Orange & White Spring Game Presented by Living Spaces, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. After the game, Texas GameDay Final will have full highlights and analysis of how the No. 8 Texas squad fared.
All Access, LHN’s behind-the-scenes documentary show, returns with a special spring football camp episode on Friday, April 12 at 10:30 p.m. ET. The hour-long show gives unprecedented access to the Longhorns as they prepare for year three under Tom Herman, including wired access to Coach Herman and QB Sam Ehlinger, off-the-field content and in-depth camp coverage.
