World of X Games December 2019 Lineup

The December programming on World of X Games continues to dive into winter sports, also adding a look back to summer events with The Monster Energy Big Wave Invitational and Rip to Cabo. The third installment of the fan-favorite Brothers McMorris series takes their fans to Aspen Snowmass, and the most medaled woman in snowboarding history, Jamie Anderson, releases her first feature film. Last but not least, X Games takes a look back at the top 10 moments from 2019 with a studio show hosted by Brandon Graham and Craig McMorris.

Brothers McMorris – Springtime in Aspen

Airs:   12/1 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC

Mark and Craig McMorris are given free rein to build the snowpark of their dreams at Aspen Snowmass mountain. Joined by an eager and talented group of rookies, the brothers push the boundaries of what is possible on a snowboard.

Jamie Anderson – Unconditional (Re-Air)

As a daughter of the Sierras, Jamie Anderson grew up on the slopes of the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Her prodigious talents as a pre-teen snowboarding savant made her a podium contender from the moment she arrived at X Games in Aspen more than a decade ago. Since then, Jamie has amassed more X Games and Olympic medals than any other woman in history. Now, Jamie pursues even greater riding challenges far from the contest circuit: powder, slush, corduroy and pillows. Unconditional presents the wide pan of Jamie’s 2019 season as she sets out to expands her horizon beyond the contest bib.

The Monster Energy Big Wave Invitational (Re-Air)

Airs:   12/8 at 2 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

The Monster Energy Big Wave Invitational features an all-star cast of the best big wave riders in the world tackling a giant swell on the fabled North Shore of Hawaii, pushing the limits of performance by towing-in to the monster-sized surf. The riders include big wave world champion surfers Shane Dorian, Kai Lenny, Makua Rothman, Nathan Florence and Billy Kemper.

OVERJOYED (Re-Air)

Airs:   12/14 at 2 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

As world-renowned snowboarders Red Gerard, Sage Kotsenburg and Ben Ferguson travel the globe in search of the world’s best terrain and deepest snow, OVERJOYED documents the lines, airs and slashes that encompass one winter of these snowboarders at the top of their game. From the endless tree runs on the north island of Japan, the backcountry of British Columbia and the peaks of the Sierras, to the top of the X Games and US Open slopestyle courses and halfpipes, it all unfolds in the filming of their first snowboard film together, JOY. OVERJOYED focuses on their insight into the world of the Olympic medals and contest venues that banded together the cast of JOY, along with the allure and progression of big mountains and deep snow that propelled them to make this film.

Brothers McMorris – Alaskan Backcountry (Re-Air)

World-renowned backcountry explorer Travis Rice takes Mark and Craig McMorris on the snowboarding adventure of a lifetime to the vast mountain ranges of Alaska and the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge.

Rip to Cabo 2019

Airs:   12/22 at 2 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

X Games correspondent Cameron Steele leads a pack of skilled dirt bike riders on a 1,552 mile-journey over eight days, down the challenging terrain of the Baja Peninsula.

Best of X Games 2019

Airs:   12/28 at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC
