Week 2 of college football on ESPN features a full weekend of action including SEC All Day on ABC, highlighted by a blockbuster battle between No. 1 Ohio State and No. 4 Texas in primetime. Thirteen ranked teams take the field on ESPN networks, including 88 games across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPN Radio, ESPN+, SEC Network+, ACCNX and Disney+. All games are streaming live on the ESPN App.
One of the most anticipated games of the season is a top four showdown in Austin on ABC Saturday Night Football Presented by Capital One. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will be on the call for Ohio State/Texas from DKR for the rematch of last year’s 14-7 Buckeyes victory. College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will be live from LBJ Lawn that morning from 9 a.m. – noon on ESPN, ESPNU, Disney+ and the ESPN App.
ABC opens Saturday’s coverage with Arizona State visiting No. 10 Texas A&M at noon. Tom Hart, Jesse Palmer and Kris Budden will announce the action, while Mike Couzens, Max Starks and Mike Peasley are on ESPN Radio. Later in the afternoon, No. 12 Alabama travels to Kentucky at 3:30 p.m. with Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy and Katie George on the ABC and Disney+ call. SEC Nation will be on site from the Crimson Tide/Wildcats clash.
ESPN’s Saturday lineup kicks off at noon with No. 6 Oregon facing Oklahoma State as Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek and Taylor McGregor are on the mic for the matchup, which will be simulcast on Disney+. In primetime, No. 18 Tennessee visits Georgia Tech at 7 p.m. with Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick and Stormy Buonantony on site, joined by the ACC Huddle crew. The day’s action concludes in late night when Arkansas takes on No. 20 Utah at 10:15 p.m., with Justin Kutcher, Roddy Jones and Quint Kessenich providing commentary.
ESPN Radio carries a marquee matchup featuring No. 11 Oklahoma at Michigan at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, with the lead team of Marc Kestecher, Kelly Stouffer and Ian Fitzsimmons on the call. Additional Week 2 action featuring ranked teams begins Thursday night when Florida A&M visits No. 7 Miami on ACC Network with Mike Corey, Max Starks and Ian Fitzsimmons. On Friday, Villanova visits No. 24 Louisville on ACC Network, where Cooper Boardman, Charles Arbuckle and Ashley Stroehlein will announce the action, and No. 25 Virginia hosts Norfolk State on ACCNX with Doug Sherman and Forrest Conoly in the booth.
Saturday’s schedule of ranked squads includes Charlotte at No. 9 Ole Miss on ESPN2 with Roy Philpott, Brock Osweiler and Lauren Sisler; No. 16 Penn State at Temple on ESPN2 with Anish Shroff, Andre Ware and Morgan Uber; Western Kentucky at No. 2 Georgia on SEC Network with Taylor Zarzour, Matt Stinchcomb and Michella Chester; UC Davis at No. 17 SMU on ACCNX with Robert Lee and Mo Hasan; Southern at No. 22 Houston on ESPN+ with Jason Ross Jr., Tyoka Jackson and Austyn Iven; and Louisiana Tech at No. 8 LSU on SEC Network+ with Clay Matvick, Rocky Boiman and Laura Stickells.
Additionally, the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11 will be commemorated with the annual Red Bandanna Game, as Mike Monaco, Jordan Rodgers and Dana Boyle announce the action from Alumni Stadium between Rutgers and Boston College at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2 Friday night.
