Nick Suss joined ESPN in 2026 after four years as the Tennessee Titans beat writer at The Tennessean in Nashville. He first distinguished himself covering SEC sports in Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi, most recently for the Mississippi Clarion Ledger from 2018 to 2022.
Nick has won nine APSE awards since graduating from the University of Georgia in 2015. He’s a gifted reporter and writer who has done everything from breaking down cautionary tales around stadium funding to interviewing a T-Rex expert about Reuben Bain’s short arms.
Nick is a comedy obsessive who can deliver a 15-minute monologue about any sitcom or sketch show you can name. He is joined in Buffalo by his wife Rebecca where they’ll survive the winters with trivia nights, karaoke performances and nightly impromptu joke workshops.
