Marion Alise Crowder is an on-field reporter for SEC Nation and an analyst for men’s and women’s college soccer across SEC Network, ACC Network and ESPN networks.
In her role, Crowder brings viewers into the programs and traditions of SEC football as a sideline presence for SEC Nation, the network’s premier college football pregame show. Her work spans studio appearances as a Women’s SEC Soccer studio guest to live event reporting from venues across the country.
Since joining ESPN in August 2023, Crowder has steadily expanded her on-air footprint. She began her tenure covering women’s college soccer as an analyst and studio guest while reporting from the College Cup and National Championship. By 2025, she added ESPN Radio reporting duties at the Liberty Bowl to her portfolio. In 2026, Crowder joined the SEC Nation crew as its on-field reporter and broadened her event coverage to include the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest on ESPN and ABC and the Patriot Games.
Prior to her work at ESPN, Crowder served as an analyst and play-by-play voice in the National Women’s Soccer League and has worked as a reporter for the United Soccer League since 2024. Earlier in her career, she spent two years as Media and Public Relations Manager for Greenville Triumph SC in Greenville, S.C., where she earned the club’s Best in Media award in 2019. She also held a senior project manager role at Nextgen Healthcare from 2021 to 2025.
Crowder earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in sports management from the University of Georgia followed by a Master of Arts in journalism and mass communication from Georgia.
