Treavor Scales is an anchor for SportsCenter, ESPN’s signature sports news and information program, returning to the network in May 2025 after a four-year absence.
In his role, Scales serves as a studio anchor for SportsCenter, contributing to the program’s news, highlights and storytelling coverage across ESPN platforms. He is based at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn.
Scales previously spent nearly a decade with ESPN from 2013 to 2021, holding a variety of on-air and digital roles. His tenure included hosting SportsCenter on Snapchat, co-hosting The Wrap Up and The College Football Show, and contributing across the company’s digital platforms. He launched his broadcasting career through ESPN’s early digital verticals, helping shape the tone and voice of sports content for a new generation of fans. Prior to his on-air work, Scales began his ESPN career in Remote Operations as a Crewing Coordinator.
Scales came to ESPN from Bally Sports and FanDuel Sports Network, where he anchored pre- and post-game coverage for the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks. He also spent two seasons as a reporter and sideline analyst for CW Sports’ college football broadcasts.
Scales is a graduate of Harvard University and was a standout running back on the Crimson football team.
