ACC Network will spotlight some of the ACC’s biggest names throughout August with seven new episodes of its ACC Huddle Special football series. Featuring exclusive conversations with coaches and players, the lineup offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the personalities and stories shaping the 2026 ACC football season.
The lineup begins Friday at 8 p.m. ET with Wes Durham sitting down with first-year Virginia Tech head coach James Franklin.
Hosted by Durham and Roddy Jones, upcoming episodes feature Stanford head coach Tavita Pritchard, SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings, Georgia Tech running back Justice Haynes, Miami quarterback Darian Mensah and Cal quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele.
Plus, ACC Huddle Special: Play-Calling 101 debuts on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. The one-hour special brings together Boston College’s Bill O’Brien, SMU’s Rhett Lashlee and Virginia’s Tony Elliott for an in-depth roundtable on one of football’s most scrutinized responsibilities. Moderated by Durham, the coaches discuss whether play-calling is more art or science, how mentors shaped their philosophies and how their approaches have evolved with the modern game. They also break down the best – and worst – play calls of their careers.
The ACC Huddle Specials join other recent editions of the series, including Roddy Jones’ and EJ Manuel’s conversation with Florida State head coach Mike Norvell, which debuted in June and will re-air throughout the month of August.
