The ACC is set for another standout fall season, with ACC Network delivering extensive coverage of the conference’s premier programs across women’s and men’s soccer, volleyball and field hockey. More than 75 total events are slated for live coverage on ACCN, part of ESPN’s fall Olympic sports programming slate for the 2026-27 season. Additionally, ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), the network’s digital arm available on the ESPN App, will carry an additional 550+ ACC events.
Women’s Soccer
Eight ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Women’s Top 25, the most of any conference nationally, with Stanford, Notre Dame, Duke and Florida State occupying the top four spots. Also ranked are No. 8 North Carolina, No. 11 Virginia, No. 18 Wake Forest and No. 25 Clemson.
Florida State, the defending national champion, leads all ACC teams with five appearances on ACC Network this season, highlighted by a home matchup against No. 3 Duke on Oct. 29. No. 1 Stanford, last season’s national runner-up, will face No. 3 Duke on Sept. 13 and No. 8 North Carolina on Oct. 23.
The ACC has continued to establish itself as the nation’s premier conference in women’s soccer, earning all four Women’s College Cup semifinal spots in 2024 and three of four in 2025. The 2026 ACC Women’s Soccer Championship begins Sunday, Nov. 8, on ACC Network, with coverage continuing through the semifinals. The championship game will air on ESPNU.

Men’s Soccer
Four ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, led by No. 2 NC State, followed by No. 9 Stanford, No. 11 Virginia and No. 15 SMU. Key matchups this season include No. 2 NC State at No. 15 SMU on Sept. 18 and North Carolina at Duke on Oct. 23.
Conference play continues through October, culminating with the ACC Championship from Nov. 4-15 across ESPN platforms, including ACC Network. The championship game will be played at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The NCAA College Cup returns to Cary on Dec. 11 and 14.
The ACC is home to two of the past three Hermann Trophy winners – Ousamane Sylla (2023) and Donavan Phillip (2025) – while eight former ACC players represented five countries at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the most of any conference.

Field Hockey
The 2026 ACC field hockey season begins on ACCN on Sunday, Sept. 6, with North Carolina hosting 2025 national finalists Princeton. The Tar Heels are coming off their 16th national semifinal appearance in 17 seasons and seeks its 12th national championship in 2026. The ACCN schedule also features ACC standouts Wake Forest, Duke, Virginia, Syracuse and more.
The ACC Championship will be held Nov. 3-6 in Chapel Hill, with the NCAA Final Four and Championship (Nov. 20 & 22) also in ACC country as Trager Stadium in Louisville hosts Championship weekend.
