Week 5 of college football on ESPN networks spotlights a dozen Top 25 teams and a pair of ranked-on-ranked showdowns, part of nearly 80 games across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPN Radio, ESPN+ and Disney+.
ABC Saturday Night Football Presented by Capital One features an ACC clash as No. 4 Miami travels to Clemson for this week’s 4K Game of the Week with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe on the call. The Hurricanes/Tigers tussle will have a secondary viewing option with Command Center Presented by SERVPRO on ACC Network.
Kicking off the day at noon is No. 7 Alabama on the road at No. 16 Mississippi State, with Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy and Katie George announcing the ABC action. At 3:30 p.m., No. 8 Florida looks to stay undefeated at No. 25 Missouri, with Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer and Kris Budden on the mic.
ESPN leads with No. 3 Notre Dame at North Carolina at noon, with Wes Durham, Dusty Dvoracek and Taylor McGregor on the call – also simulcast on Disney+ – as the Fighting Irish look to stay unbeaten on the road in Chapel Hill. ESPN’s afternoon window features No. 17 Tennessee hosting Auburn at 3:30 p.m., with Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick and Stormy Buonantony calling the game for TV and the lead ESPN Radio team of Marc Kestecher, Kelly Stouffer and Ian Fitzsimmons on the radio broadcast.
ESPN wraps its ranked Week 5 roster with No. 10 BYU at TCU at 7 p.m., where Tom Hart, Roddy Jones and Quint Kessenich call a Big 12 battle pitting the unbeaten Cougars against a TCU team looking to make a statement at home. The conference clash will also be simulcast on Disney+. In late night on ESPN, Baylor and Arizona State close out the day at 10:30 p.m. with Roy Philpott, Brock Osweiler and Sherree Burruss announcing the action after dark.
Additionally on ESPN, Friday night features Pittsburgh at Virginia Tech in a battle of the unbeatens and James Franklin’s first conference home game. Following the action from Blacksburg, Big Sky play kicks in late night with Montana State at Idaho at 10:30 p.m. Mike Monaco, Jordan Rodgers and Dana Boyle have the call for the Panthers/Hokies highlight, and Courtney Lyle and Rene Ingoglia will be on the mic for the Bobcats visiting the Vandals.
ESPN2 kicks off Saturday as No. 20 Houston hosts UCF at noon, with Anish Shroff, Andre Ware and Morgan Uber on the call. Additionally, the Southwest Classic between Arkansas and Texas A&M is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN2, with Lowell Galindo, Kirk Morrison and Dawn Davenport announcing the action. Also on ESPN2, Virginia visits Florida State in Tallahassee at 3:30 p.m., with Jay Alter, Tom Luginbill and Lauren Sisler on the mic.
SEC Network carries three ranked games in Week 5, starting with No. 2 Georgia hosting Vanderbilt at 12:45 p.m., with Matt Schumacker, Aaron Murray and Taylor Davis calling the action Between the Hedges. No. 24 Kentucky visits South Carolina at 4:15 p.m., with Taylor Zarzour, Matt Stinchcomb and Michella Chester on the mic. In primetime, SEC Network features No. 11 LSU hosting McNeese at 7:45 p.m., with Dave Neal, Cole Cubelic and Tori Petry.
ACC Network carries a pair of games in Week 5, led by Louisville at NC State at 3:30 p.m. with Justin Kutcher, Max Browne and Madison Fitzpatrick. At noon, Jorge Sedano, Rodney McLeod and Kendra Douglas are on the call for Stanford at Wake Forest on ACCN.
