ESPN announced today it will exclusively televise an MLB doubleheader on Wednesday, September 23, featuring a pair of American League matchups with postseason implications amidst the final week of the 2026 regular season.

At 7 p.m. ET, José Ramírez and the Cleveland Guardians visit Roman Anthony and the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Boston is currently positioned in the American League Wild Card picture, while Cleveland remains in the postseason chase entering the final weeks of the season.

The doubleheader continues at 10 p.m. ET as the Houston Astros visit the Seattle Mariners in an American League West matchup. Houston currently leads the division as the race for the AL West continues down the stretch.
