Adam Rittenberg joined ESPN in 2008 as a staff writer reporting for the site’s Big Ten college football blog. In the years since joining the team at ESPN.com, Rittenberg has been elevated to a senior writer role covering the Big Ten and the national college football landscape while also appearing on SportsCenter, College Football Live, ESPN Radio, Sirius XM and more. His work as a college football insider is also available on ESPN+.

Prior to his tenure at ESPN, Rittenberg wrote for the Daily Herald where he covered college sports at Notre Dame, Northwestern, DePaul and more. He now serves as an adjunct professor at DePaul in their journalism program.

A California native and Northwestern alum, he resides in Chicago with his family.
