Alden Gonzalez

Alden Gonzalez is a Los Angeles-based multimedia reporter for ESPN. He originally joined the company in 2016 as the LA Rams team reporter for ESPN’s NFL Nation.
Gonzalez was promoted to his current role in May 2018. Part of ESPN’s LA news bureau, he covers all of the Los Angeles sports teams in addition to covering major stories in Southern California. As a multimedia, bilingual journalist, Gonzalez writes for ESPN.com and makes appearances on SportsCenter, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes and more.
As the Rams team reporter for two seasons, Gonzalez contributed to editions of SportsCenter and ESPN’s NFL shows. He also wrote features across multiple sports for ESPN.com and assisted with coverage of the NFL’s games in Mexico City.
Prior to ESPN, Gonzalez worked for MLB.com. He was a national reporter based out of New York before moving to Southern California to spend five years covering the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Gonzalez was born and raised in Miami and graduated from the University of Florida, immediately after title runs by the football and men’s basketball programs.
