Alex Perlman is a play-by-play announcer for college sports on ESPN and has covered major sporting events for both ESPN and SiriusXM, including the 2018 Winter Olympics, NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, and Division I gymnastics.

With a background in voice-over acting and a degree from Syracuse University’s prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Perlman has built a distinguished career spanning collegiate and professional sports. He previously worked at the University of South Florida and the University of Arkansas before returning to New York City.

Beyond broadcasting, Perlman enjoys golf, cooking, live music, and solving the New York Times Crossword. An Eagle Scout, he values the leadership and discipline that was instilled through Scouting.
