Blake Bolden is a reporter and analyst for NHL coverage on ESPN, a pro scout for the Los Angeles Kings and a former professional hockey player. She joined ESPN’s NHL commentator team in 2021 and serves as a reporter for select NHL games. In 2025, she expanded her role to include coverage of NCAA College Hockey.

Throughout the NHL season, Bolden is a regular contributor to The Point, ESPN’s hockey studio show, where she hosts Breaking the Ice with Blake Bolden segments, featuring shootouts and demo breakdowns with NHL players. In addition to her work with ESPN, she has served as an analyst for NHL Network, Amazon Prime, NBC Sports and Sportsnet.

In 2020, Bolden joined the Los Angeles Kings as a Pro Scout and Growth & Inclusion Specialist, becoming only the second woman to scout in the NHL. A Cleveland, Ohio, native, she developed a passion for hockey at a young age, rising through minor youth hockey before competing at the U18 World Championships. Bolden played collegiately at Boston College, serving as team captain her senior year, before continuing her career professionally in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) and National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL).

Off the ice, Bolden is dedicated to mentorship and advocacy in sports. She founded the EmBolden Her Mentorship Initiative, providing opportunities for young female athletes in the U.S. and Canada. She currently resides in Southern California.
