Bobby Marks is ESPN’s NBA Front Office Insider that regularly contributes to NBA Today, SportsCenter and additional news and information programming. He joined the network in 2017 after spending the previous two years with Yahoo Sports. Marks provides commentary across all ESPN platforms including television, radio and digital media and has been an integral part of the NBA’s draft, trade deadline and free agency coverage since he was hired in 2017.
The former Brooklyn Nets executive provides unique insight and expertise on the inner workings of an NBA front office. Marks’ specialties include the economics of the NBA and the business of basketball.
Marks started his professional career with the than New Jersey Nets as an intern in 1995 and rose through the ranks, eventually garnering the title of Assistant GM in 2010. With the Nets, he was part of two team Eastern Conference championship teams.
A native of Little Falls, NJ, Marks graduated from Marist College in 1995 with a bachelor of arts in communications At Marist, he was member of the football team for three years. In 2012, Mark’s was named to Crain’s 40 under 40.
