Brian Iglesias

Vice President, Sports Marketing
Brian Iglesias is a Vice President, Sports Marketing at ESPN.
In his role, Iglesias oversees full-funnel marketing campaigns across a diverse portfolio of properties. These include the NHL, UFC and combat sports, soccer, golf, cricket, lacrosse, ESPN Deportes, U.S. Hispanic markets, and international marketing efforts.
Initially joining ESPN in December 2018 leading marketing operations, Iglesias has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s marketing strategy. Prior to ESPN, he served as a programming lead at Verizon focusing on acquiring live, syndicated, and original sports and gaming content. He was responsible for Dear Basketball by Kobe Bryant and Glen Keane, which would go on to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Short.
Iglesias is a decorated combat veteran with over 26 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is still active in the Veterans community, sitting on the boards of the Institute for Veterans and Military Families and Ranchin’ Vets.
Brian graduated from Temple University with a degree in Film & Media Arts, and also earned an MBA from Syracuse University.
