Christine Williamson joined ESPN in October 2019. She often hosts SportsCenter’s 2 p.m. ET edition alongside Matt Barrie.
In December of 2025, it was announced that Williamson would serve as ESPN’s lead women’s college basketball host, including the signature College GameDay Covered by State Farm franchise.
In addition to SportsCenter and Women’s College GameDay, Williamson hosts ESPN programs on ESPN digital platforms including SC on Snap, Countdown to GameDay, Hoop Streams, Rankings Reaction, The Wrap-Up, The Heisman Show and more.
In 2024, she joined the College GameDay Covered by State Farm team as a reporter traveling to college campuses each week. She is also among a rotating group of panelists on ESPN’s afternoon program Around the Horn.
Before joining ESPN, Williamson worked with Fox Sports and Big 12 Network as a digital contributor and on-camera host. The sports journalist was also a host and reporter for the Denver Broncos.
The Tampa, Fla., native, earned her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Miami. During her undergraduate career there, she was a scholarship athlete in volleyball. She then obtained her master’s degree from Clemson University, where she studied Communication, Technology & Society. While pursuing her degrees at both, Miami and Clemson, she gained broadcast experience as a host and reporter.
