Courtney Lyle is a play-by-play commentator for ESPN and SEC Network for a number of college sports, including volleyball, basketball and softball. She returned to ESPN after serving as an event production intern in 2010 and 2011.

Prior to joining the network, Lyle worked at WBIR in Knoxville, Tenn., and 13WMAZ in Macon, Ga., as a weekend sports anchor & reporter. She earned a MidSouth Emmy nomination for her work in 2016.

Lyle graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Electronic Media. She currently resides in Knoxville.
