Ross contributes to all elements within the club’s baseball operations department, including major league operations, player development, pro scouting and work within the front office.  He also assists in evaluating amateur players leading up to the draft among additional responsibilities and opportunities.

Ross’ 15-year MLB career included time with seven organizations and two World Series victories. The first came with the Boston Red Sox in 2013. In 2016, his second season with the Cubs, Ross helped the franchise to its first World Series victory in 108 years. Following his success in 2016, Ross retired from his MLB playing career.
