Gary Striewski is an anchor for SportsCenter:AM, the 7 a.m. ET edition of ESPN’s signature news and information program.

Striewski brings his signature energy and digital-first approach to his new role as co-host of SC+, the reimagined SportsCenter exclusively for Disney+. A familiar face to ESPN audiences, Striewski has been at the forefront of engaging new generations of sports fans, previously hosting SportsCenter on Snapchat, an extension of ESPN’s flagship franchise and the first-ever daily sports show on the platform when it launched in 2017.

Striewski also regularly contributes to ESPN’s industry-leading social platforms including as commentator for popular digital and social shows like Hoop Streams, Rankings Reaction, Baseball Tonight Live and co-hosts The Elle Duncan Show with Elle Duncan.

Prior to joining ESPN in March 2018, Striewski most notably served as the Boston Red Sox sideline reporter for NESN. He has also previously held roles as sports reporter/anchor for KPRC in Houston, Tex., sports anchor for CBS Northern Colorado 5, and sports director for KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyo.

Striewski graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism.
