Jason Goodall serves as a commentator on ESPN’s tennis coverage, working at times as both the lead voice on matches and other times as the analyst, as well as working as a studio analyst.  He first worked for ESPN at the 2015 Australian Open. 

Goodall was an outstanding junior whose senior career was cut short by injury at the age of 21. He is a former British number two who represented Great Britain in the Davis Cup and was also a coach for the British Fed Cup (now the Billie Jean King Cup).  

He is a fully qualified tennis coach and has worked with numerous top ten players as both a coach and a hitting partner, including Tim Henman, Jennifer Capriati, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario and ESPN’s Mary Joe Fernandez and Pam Shriver 

Goodall has over 20 years of sports broadcasting experience at the highest level of the game working for some of the most well respected companies in the world. He is renowned for being a tennis specific play-by-play with incredibly in-depth knowledge of the game.  As of 2021, he also works for Tennis Channel.
