Jason Spells is a veteran sports broadcaster and studio host who joined ACC Network in 2026, bringing a diverse background in local and national sports media.
Spells began his career behind the scenes before transitioning into on-air roles, rising as a reporter and anchor. He got his start in Raleigh covering ACC sports – experience that came full circle with his role at ACC Network. He later spent several years in Indianapolis, including at WRTV, where he became known for his engaging storytelling and strong live presence.
His career expanded into studio hosting across multiple markets, including serving as a pregame host for the Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans, as well as anchoring at SportsNet New York. At ACC Network, Spells hosts a wide range of studio programming including ACC PM, Nothing But Net, All ACC and more.
A native of Greensboro, N.C., Spells is a graduate of NC State.
