Jesse Rogers joined ESPN in 2009 as a writer for ESPN Chicago covering the Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs. He provides Major League Baseball commentary and analysis for ESPN.com and ESPN Radio, including ESPN 1000 in Chicago. Rogers regularly serves as a correspondent for ESPN shows such as SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight and other studio shows, covering MLB and the Chicago Cubs.

In 2018, Rogers published his book, Try Not to Suck: The Exceptional, Extraordinary Baseball Life of Joe Maddon, co-authored with Bill Chastain.
